Mit einem betont klassischen und stimmigen Design kam der Italiener 1994 als Stufenhecklimousine, Kombi (SW) und Coupé auf den Markt. Lancia-typisch gab es den Kappa mit einer üppigen Serienausstattung. Dazu gehörten u.a. eine Klimaautomatik, Velourspolsterung und ABS.
